the Beatles were the most important, most influencial band of all time ..
there has been nothing with as large an impact before or since.
Their music will still be played and remembered long after your or my favorite artists are long forgotten.


I'm not arguing that they are the best band or not .. that will be subjective for sure. But to deny the weight of their influence on popular music isnt possible.

anyways, I liked Evil Dead and Evil Dead 2. however, many of you all praise it way more than me. I guess it justs that Im more into psychological horror movies than gory zombie movies. I just didnt find it funny and gore alone just cant do it for me. the plot can be better and the acting. i understand that its a cult classic, but i prefer other zombie movies. And I do have these movies on DVD.
As for Urban Legend, I actually liked it better than Scream.

I judge music on Song Struture, Melody, Lyrics, song patterns, and pure talent (singing, guitar playing).

In one of the video releases of Gimme Shelter (and possibly any subsequent DVDs?), it included the notorious footage of a fan being stabbed to death by the Hells Angels the promoters had unwisely decided would be fit to oversee security at the gig.

It isn't particularly graphic (but obvious something bad is happening), and all this while Mick and Co. play on apparently oblivious.
