but they manage to use them with great effect (except Phone, which i didnt like at all .. again with the hair in the drain ?) I think the japanese ghost film is so much like the italian giallo films its crazy ... only the japanese being supernatural where the italians - its a slasher .. they are both presented as mysteries .. it has to be solved before there is closure. It's always traced back to somethingt the lead character - potential victim was involved in .. the japanese substituted shocks for the italian gore but they still follow a lot of the same 'rules' |

Why, thank you ever so kindly Hate_Breeder.:) *Struggling to keep from tap-dancing in joy again* About "A chinese ghost tale" i read on IMDB that it shoukd be a blend of martial arts and horror.... Yeah right. Iīll bet itīll be just the first... But what the fuck, it sounded interesting. Should be visually beautiful. So iīm hoping for some kind of positive result. Maybe theyīve even translated it in some kind of readable english. I have my fingers crossed. Now about "Junk". WATCH IT GOD DAMMIT!!!:D |

"A chinese ghost story"
Damn, what a stupid movie. The acting was theatrical and bad. The horror was nonexisting. The martial art scenes were sword fighting scenes (No fists or kicks). Oh, and of course the fighters could jump 50 feets in the air. God, i hate that. The effects were fairly good at times but mostly pretty lousy, like the skelletons. And the story was just plain crappy. Somewhere iīve read that it should be visually beautiful. Well, you could easily see that it wasnīt a B-movie, but when i think visually beautiful i think "Hero" and it didnīt reach that one to its shoelaces. WHO THE FUCK RECOMMENDED THIS STINKER? Grrrrrrrrrr!!!! |
you....
take the good you take the bad you take them both and then you have...? |
