They see EVERYTHING! We have a low income community here. Parenting skills are very bad.

One time a seven year old told me he saw Event Horizon.........I have even heard kids say they saw movies even more inappropriate for their age.

Steve_Hutchison 11-05-2004 10:11 PM

yeah but at some point they educate themselves. that goes for every kid. I wasnt allowed to watch too much horror as a child but I always managed to hide them.

The STE 11-05-2004 10:19 PM

meh, I started on Halloween when I was five and then, given my lack of funding, moved on to whatever I could find locally...which, given the local rental outlet with the obscure stuff, was quite a bit. I saw Zombi 2 (or Zombie, whichever) around 8ish, Demons around the same time frame. I say let 'em watch what they want as long as they're willing to deal with it. Hell, I saw Evil Toons (just this side of softcore porn) when I was maybe 10 and I delt.

Zolton : Hound of Dracula
probably the best Dracula film with a dog called Zolton in it!

saw it years ago, another is

Barghest (Devil Dog:Hound of Hell),
similar in that the dog can hypnotize/possess people

EXTR3MIST 11-11-2004 12:58 PM

Sexorcismes
What a Way to Earn Travelling Expenses
Obscene Beast Teacher
Chasing the Killer in Vietnam
The Rape After
Black Angel/Arabella (Giallo, Max Steel)

Skullduggery is one of the worst films ever made ..

Maybe Silent Scream and the Asphyx..

You should see the real oddball stuff !!

Not as cool as it sounds...

I own the boxed set of Eddie Romero's "Blood Island" movies. Sometimes when I'm feeling sad, I think about that, and it makes me feel happy.

bwind22 11-15-2004 09:11 PM

Suburbia. Not the 90s one with Giovanni Ribisi, Steve Zahn, and Parker Posey either. I'm talking about the early 80s one with a young Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers) about a group of teenage homeless punk rockers that start fights against the cops.

Kick ass movie.

"American Nightmare" with Debbie Rochon. Every horror movie board I mention this film on, most people say American what? or Never heard of it. One time 1 person responded saying they had actually seen it.

i am glad someone mentioned Cradle of Fear.

I want to say publically that it is the stupidest piece of shit i own (out of 8000 movies)

i see it being praised on a bunch of web pages and it makes me want to tear my own face off.

La jetée/The Pier - Chris Marker

A 29 minute short movie/still pictures having greatly inspired Gilliam's brilliant 12 Monkeys.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0056119/

On previous page : Nekromantik 1+2, which I hope never to see again as long as I live.

;)

I've a low budget horror movie called: Warning Beware of Children. Has anyone seen it?

EXTR3MIST 12-19-2004 02:45 PM

a.k.a. Beware Children At Play?

This has been released through Troma, and is their usual brand of ketchupy trash but with some suprisingly frank violence on kids (impaled and blasted with various implements and weapons) - though of course the homicidal little gits deserve it in this movie.

Fantastic tagline in the trailer: "Now, the only way to discipline your children... is with a twelve-gauge shotgun!".

Still on the topic of child-slaying, the baby popped into the cooking pot is rather shocking
