Isn't that part of the "Scare Factor" getting the viewer to believe this really could be true, or happen?

People also think that fargo was based on real events, because it SAID it was at the beginning....People will but into anything... Like this:

Kentucky Fried Chicken changed to KFC because the bird they use for their meat is genetically different enough from chicken (due to modification) that they were no longer legally able to call them chicken.... BULLSHIT.

I had a friend insist this was absolute fact, and got real pissy with me when i told her there was no way in hell that was possible... because she "heard it somewhere...." I dont talk to her anymore...:rolleyes:
