GINGER SNAPS and GINGER SNAPS II are both very good movies. If you don't know, the first is about two sisters who are obsessed with death and they think about ways to kill themselves. They even set up images of themselves in various forms of death, taking pictures along the way. However, one of the sisters "Ginger" gets attacked by a werewolf and gradually changes. The second continues with this idea, showing the problems of changing and how hard it is to stop the change. I highly recommend this these films to you and everybody else.

Plus, I think Ginger is hot. (Notice it is the same girl from FvJ who dies in the cornfield at the rave)

The Toxic Avenger series. [Citizen Toxie being the best by far]

BTW i finally saw Evil Dead an it sucked. i popped out the DVD after 30 minutes.

Evil dead is just what it is, man...

Final Destination 1 & 2 were fun, childs play 1 & 2 (didn't think all that much of any to follow myself) if you're into asian films, try the oldskool vampire-zombie martial arts series "mister vampire" the first one by far the best, but the sequels and remake were quite good/funny also...crazy stunt coreography.

When you watch Evil Dead, you have to keep in mind that it was made on almost no budget at all. (I think Evil Dead 2 is better. It's basically a remake of the first with a bigger budget and a more humorous tone.)

The good ones
Ginger Snaps (Werewolves)
Demons (Zombies)
Nightmare on Elm Street (Freddy Krueger)

The less than good ones
Puppet Master is okay, but they seemed to slowly decline as the series went on.
Hellraiser is decent, but widely overrated.
Phantasm sucks. Period.
Child's Play sucks. How can a 2 foot tall doll be scary to anyone?
Leprechaun sucks, but it's good for a few laughs.
