... its never going to be a classic but considering a lot of the crap thats getting made these days it was better than most!
... Its not a rip off ... Just because it takes influences from Deliverence, Southern Comfort, Hills Have eyes, TCSM etc, most films are influenced by something, very rare for there to be a totally new idea! ... At least it tried to be a bit diffrent, a lot more worthy than the sub par and pointless TCSM remake which sucked badly ... I would say of the latest generation of horror in the last year or two "Dead end", is the one which I felt was the most enjoyable!!! |
i personal enjoyed it. i realize it isn't an orignal idea, but i still think it was a fun film to watch.

I actually liked this movie quite a bit. It wasn't ground breaking or cover your eyes scary but it was fun to watch. It actually showed a little more gore than I expected, which I enjoyed. The partial decapitation was great. The inbreds did have a striking resemblence to orcs though. :)

I liked it. It could have been a hell of a lot worse. For example... watch Detour, then watch Wrong Turn. You'll appreciate WT far more. Detour was simply a horrible waste of film, time, and effort.

the only part that i liked was the crazy, laughing redneck cause he made me giggle. oh, and when they chopped up their friend while they were under the bed watching. funny stuff. terrible ending though.

Wrong turn was cool. i expected to hate it and make fun of it the whole time, i dont really care for Eliza Dushku (nice figure, but she has a worse "lazy eye" problem than michelle rodriguez. Plus, she plays a bitch so often i have a hard time accepting her as something else), but i really enjoyed it.
It was pure mindless entertainement. Plus, i got to see the evil devil guy from Ghost ship be a good guy again (he was the archer from The Messenger) |
