I wondered the same thing for a moment, but I'm sure Hammer appreciates that we're thinking about her in this difficult time, and wish her still to have at least a decent birthday. And you can't help not knowing, hun. No one can fault you for that. ::wink::

I most definitely appreciate all the wonderful birthday wishes! Yeah, this birthday sucked, especially since my Mom's memorial service was on my birthday. But, it's OK.

Get this: So, I'm back around an hour or two, and I hear all this commotion in the hallway. I don't pay any mind to it because one of my neighbors is really noisy. I usually just turn up the TV and ignore it. Which is what I did. Turns out the dude across the hall committed suicide, and the "commotion" I heard was his girlfriend screaming on the phone to 911.

I feel like a real shit now.

To hammerfan, I was about to wish you a belated birthday, but then I saw the other post about your mom - I'm so sorry, and the one about your neighbor - that was truly awful. I wish I knew what else to say, except I'm truly sorry.
