Night Of The Living Dead does seem right.
I didn't even think about Ghostbusters, but it does make sense. Especially with the reboot coming up. |
I would go with original Halloween, Ghostbusters, or the recently popular Walking Dead series. Although that's a TV series.
What's the highest grossing horror movie? I remember the Friday the 13th remake did well at first. Whatever it is could be the answer. |

I'm kinda surprised so many people here consider Ghostbusters horror. I never thought of it as a horror movie, even though there were ghosts in it.

My random guess would be the original Halloween or the Exorcist. Though I know some in the newer crowd are not as keen on older films.

It's like Young Frankenstein... It's primarily a comedy, but it's Horror themed. So, take your pick. Ghostbusters and Young Frankenstein are one of those multi-themed films Comedy and Horror. So I lump it in. |

Jaws is a really good guess. Friday the 13th is another very plausible choice. I do not think a whole lot of people have the Universal classics. I love them, but I am not sure how many of the general public, even the horror crowd, actually own them. |
