I think being bullied and having bad social skills, and being unable to cope with the social stresses of school/life makes people do shootings. I think whatever they say on top, whether sex-focused "I deserve a girlfriend so I'm killing women" stuff, or video game focused stuff, I think the pain/craziness of being a weird isolated person in a tough world is behind that stuff. Personally. Not that I can ever sympathise.
