Just finished watching

Decent horror with good monster and f/x, memorable score, and an eloquent script. A bit slow. I concur with DH's rating: 6/10.

I really liked it. I enjoy a good slow burn monster movie especially with a great cast like this one. The monster was really cool and the way it killed was unique. I really liked the part where it killed the guy that was whistling and then started doing the same whistle. That tune kept popping up throughout the film as well. The train setting was great. It really gave the movie a feeling of isolation and claustrophobia. Definitely reccomend.

8/10

It's a classic and I remember liking it, but it's been far too long since I've seen it. Unfortunately I don't have a copy close at hand either. I'm gigging the next 3 days so I won't be able to try to find one this weekend but I'll have to look for a copy next week. I"m sure there's a ton I've forgotten so rewatching it would definitely be fun.

soon was tonight

not a bad watch at all. Some pretty original ideas and unexpected humor.

"One of you could be the monster!...."Monster? We're British, you know"

not to mention Telly Savalas in full scene chewing mode. I half expected a lollipop and him saying " who loves ya baby".

if you want to watch it, I put a link in Angra's youtube thread. Youtube is pretty cool watching on a 54 inch TV with an Xbox app
