Also in the 70s it was reported David Bowie would star in Stranger in a Strange Land. Instead, we got Man Who Fell to Earth, which is a great film, but I'd love to see Stranger in a Strange Land.

yea, that's a great idea. Start out with a super advanced Van Helsing, who's an expert in killing vampires, has all the gadgets, but he gets killed by Dracula. Then Sherlock Homes steps in and has to out smart Dracula.

LOL! That's funny! I see they made three Ilsa movies. I never even heard of them until I saw your avatar pic.

Is Ilsa, She Wolf of the SS X-rated? And is it straight horror, or is it comedic?

It's not really a horror, nor is it the least bit comdiec. Its more of a prison/torture/nazi/exploitation movie all rolled into one. As far as the rating is concerned, Who knows? It was the 70's when things were a lot less puritanical than they are now. It's one of those movies that just would NEVER see the light of day if it was made now.

There were actually 4 Ilsa movies. She Wolf of the SS, Wicked Warden, Tigress of Siberia, and Harem Keepr of the Oil Shieks.

When I read the plot for Ilsa, I wondered how graphic the sex was, as in, X-rated full display of intercourse. I'm assuming not, or it'd be known as porn.

There is a lot of nudity but the sex scenes are that graphic and of course are simulated.

There are 3 Official Ilsa movies plus unofficial one by Jesus Franco. It has was titled Greta the Mad Butcher and also Wanda the Wicked Warden and later Ilsa the Wicked Warden.

There were also a bunch of rip off titles (mostly from Italy) like Elsa Fräulein SS.
