I really like how they've updated chucky's look. No more of that self parodying style and with a modern flair too.

I love it.

This has to be the only film I can think of I'm looking forward to!

I Am torn on this. While the first two were solid horror films, the latter entries were great comedy. I'm not sure that at this point they can pull back from the humor aspect of the series.

Oh wow, now I'm excited and looking forward to it. I thought Seed of Chucky was an insult to Child's Play franchise, so i hope this will turn out great as it's going back to horror and not comedy spoof.

There's no chance they'll make this more a comedy. Most successful ramkes of old horror movies have dark tone and are rather scary than funny. I hope this one will share that approach and Chucky will be a real psychopath.

Its gonna go straight to BluRay.
Confirmed.

When I watched the trailer, I have to admit that I thought the redesigned Chucky looked pretty scary when he did his "evil face" (and as much as I love the classic Chucky movie, they never scared me).

I might give it a watch but I could never take this series seriously no matter how dark they make it...

Believe it or not, but there are lots of people who are creeped out by or even terrified of dolls. I'm that way with certain types of dolls too, although the "original" Chucky never scared me. The movie "Dead Silence", on the other hand...
