Hopefully the administrator that V mentioned, El Gato, will stick around and honor requests from the mods.

I'm getting these messages even here in general-it looks like it happens if you make a "long" post so I won't bother writing much then.

I'm not sure what sets it off. Posting at a certain time of the night/day? Posted stuff yesterday with no problems so I don't know.

Bit of a pain in the ass and kinda kills discussion a bit... but I'm sure it'll get sorted :)

I just experienced this - tried to post in the comic "last read" thread.
Not a huge post, but larger than this one will be.
Got the same message when I tried to post it, and this was more than 24 hours ago.
I agree with the need for certain measures at this point but I'm rather against their sloppy, poorly thought out implementation.
At least leave some kind of power in the hands of a "moderator" who actually visits the place occasionally, to address such issues.
I don't know if my post will eventually make it through, or is simply lost now...I can imagine rather a large back-log of these "to approve" posts piling up, and someone simply not bothering with them.
I'd re-type/re-post the same, or a similar post but at this stage I don't think there would be a point if the same thing stands to happen again...

Disregaurd that last statement, lol.

Wow, what seriously crappy functionality. Way to kill conversations. May not be the Admin's fault, but I might rather see SPAM than wait a day to see my comments "approved."

The SPAM filter needs to be more advanced is my guess. Lame.

Hello?? Horror?? El Gato?? Any other administrator??

Bizarre 12-18-2011 07:26 AM

Mine aren't being blocked?

Yeah, agreed. It really does put a stop to conversation; it makes me not want to post anything. Hopefully they can get it fixed soon.

It's happening to me maybe once every 5 posts. And not all of them have had external links
