Starting Stuff: Compulsive Hoarding and the Meaning of Things by Prof. Gail Steketee Ph.D. and Prof. Randy Frost Ph.D.

So far it's kind of like the show Hoarders in book form. If you like that show, you'll love it! If not its still an interesting read.

NEW YORK BY SUNLIGHT AND GASLIGHT by James McCabe, the actual 1881 edition. Not a history but more of a travel book about one of the world's most important cities written around the time the Statue Of Liberty and the city's railway system were installed. A few slow spots but on the whole fascinating.
