I always much prefer to leave small clues as to the origins of what's happened and allow the viewers to speculate for themselves.

Heh heh...yeah, crabby is joking too. But problem is just as everyone says. The "funny article" is not so much funny as it is REALLY REALLY CLOSE to the kind of stuff that is actually being made nowadays.
