 |  I don't know if I'd call it the best movie of the decade, but it's pretty incredible.  
It's by Michael Haneke, who did Funny Games  and The Piano Teacher  (not to mention this year's Cannes Palme d'Or winner The White Ribbon ).  
It's another meta-film experiment, but this time that's much more deep-rooted within the work, not punch-you-in-the-face-with-it like Funny Games . The study isn't the abstraction itself, but the drama created by the filmmaker's manipulation (kind of like The Birds ). 
 
I would certainly big-time recommend it. There's one scene in particular that will make your mouth drop. |
