Stop making things up to bitch about. How do you know it will be CGI?

Worst comparison ever, by the way.

Okay, given that Rob Zombie is such a huge horror fan, there is a chance... but I'm not hoping for it.

Why remake Devil's Rejects? It was done effectively the first time around...

Oh I was just following the Originals Posters lead and posting random lies about Rob Zombie.

i always prefer to watch the original films, i've never watched a remake so i'm not sure they all suck. but even if the remake film is well-directed, i don't see a point to watch it. why should i waste my time with "A Nightmare on Elm Street" 2010 film while i have the 1984 one?

Zombie blew it by chalking it up to growing up in a dysfunctional family and having an abusive childhood. We can get that crap on Court TV every nite. He also took the character of Dr. Loomis and relegated him to a creep who would sell his mother for a book deal. I can only imagine the damage Zombie will do to his remake of the Blob.

Zombie also made a mess of Friday the 13th which would almost seem impossible. He made nearly every character so despicable the audience was literally cheering as Jason took them out.

We've also seen this in the remake of the Fog. Old Mr. Machem went from being a crusty old fisherman telling spooky campfire stories to being an alcoholic bum.

There should be laws for misfits like Zombie to be sued for tampering with classic horror movies.

Watch "The Thing" and "The Departed" one isn't a horror movie, but they're great remakes.

sure, remakes can be good. i don't deny that. actually i've watched "The Thing" but as i know it's not a full remake, it's a different adaptation. [i didn't like it btw. i expected something better]

I think remakes are ok so long as they bring something new to the film unlike the 1998 remake of psycho, which was practicly a shot 4 shot remake.

I'm sure you've seen a few remakes without knowing they were remakes.

I can't believe there's a horror fan out there that hasn't seen The Thing nor can I believe you haven't seen a version of Frankenstein after 1910.

Its really hard to call any Frankenstein film made after 1910 a remake of the Edison one - that version is very different than the source material (if i remember correctly) and the monster was created thru alchemy not science. If that ia your reasoning than every version of The Hound of the Baskervilles is a remake of the 1915 german film..

Also to be fair to the Thing it does include alot from the story tha wasn't in the 50's version (the original movie monster wasn't a shape shifter).
