Took the whole family to see it last night at the New Beverly Cinema. It screened as part of a double feature with CREEPSHOW.
My son's Sam costume won the costume contest and he's now sitting at home watching the DVD... he's obsessed! http://i711.photobucket.com/albums/w...vSean/Sam2.jpg |
that's awesome. the costume and the fact that you got to see trick 'r treat and creepshow in one sitting.

This film was built-up way too much for me... and after viewing it, I felt a little let down. It was a 1.5hr homage to classic Halloween spooks. It was fun-ish, but scary? No.
Cut out the tits/adult-language, and this film was an easy PG, made-for-TV Halloween special. PS: Great costume Roderick Usher!!! |
I enjoyed it alot - I loved the feel/spirit of the film. The whole was better than the individual parts..
Cool outfit Roderick..Whats the cert on the film in the states? |

I just saw it and I really enjoyed it. I loved how they mixed the stories together as the characters crossed each other. It had plenty of suspense and enough gore. I found the movie to be original and even better than creepshow. It's a shame that this movie didn't open in the theatres because it's better than lot of horror movies in the theatres.
