it clearly says its an online dating service for horror fans.

why would you join this when you're already on a site to meet other horror fans ...and you already have a boyfriend ... this is clearly a dating service..

also - i'd hate to define myself as a person as : a horror fan.

cant imagine how many goofs there would be that would be happy to say that's what they truely are.

Seriously, I get a LOT of crap around here for liking horror movies. I can rarely suggest movies I like to people without them freaking out and thinking I'm morbid or actually going to kill someone and then avoiding me at all costs. My family doesn't accept that I like what I like, and having a love affair with gore and other morbid things makes it hard for me to talk to people sometimes. The other day I had a friend tell me that they often wonder if there are bodies in the black garbage bags they see along the road, and I was sooo happy to see I'm not alone but it's that kind of thing that makes being myself difficult.

It says dating service, but it's really more like a social networking site for horror fans, but less lame and whiny than Vampire Freaks. It has a specific box to check off under "looking for" that states you are looking for just friends, and so far I have been making some.

Besides... no one new comes on HDC for more than 2 days most of the time. When we do get new people who stick around they are usually fake accounts from previous trolls or decent members.:D

Is the object sandwiched between the monitor and the keyboard a giant 8 track player?

Made a profile, found and stalked MM for a minute, did a search...

Wow, when I signed up a few weeks ago there was no option to search for the same sex. It asked if I was male or female, and as soon as I checked that off it automatically searched for the opposite sex. I was disappointed that they would do that, but I see they have changed it now.
