also he's in this movie called "takers" that is coming out next year and he co-stars alongside matt dillon and paul walker. i don't know what it's about, but I'll say oscar right now.

It all started around the time that writers and film makers decided that there was no such thing as a zombie. They are just infected people, infected with one thing or another. The writers felt the need to create a completely new mythology to make themselves unique and one of the obvious choices was to make vampires less evil. This then slowly mutated into vampires being full on protagonists. Most people over 25 who have any sense wouldn't buy into this so the key demographic became younger people, and when a writer comes along and decides her vampire novel will be a romance it became young girls. Vampires were suitably toned down and loved up. What came out was a few pale kids with messy hair who in any other story would have been the bullied freaks.
