Depends on how fussy you are. For me it depends on the food.

I'm a little mental. If it hits the floor at all, it goes to the dog or in the trash. I have to wash my hands if I touch anything the least bit unsanitary.

Maybe some kind of disorder? Or maybe because I work in the food service industry?

Not when you work in compliance with the main Health Departments and such. I don't WORK the food industry. I install, train people, and inspect.
