Always down to hear people's tunes, I just get bored easily of the usual suspects and tend to rag on 'em but I appreciate a lot of different stuff musically. My girlfriend's spent a bit of time in Canada so I hope to make it over there sometime soon with her. Its a place I've always wanted to visit.

Received my cheque for the Advance on a new bike I had applied for.

The past year was pretty good during recession times so the company is happy with me. Good time to apply for an Advance, specially when its interest-free.

Anyways, the Victor has served me loyally for the past 11 years so it will be a slightly emotional farewell but yeah, moving to the Apache which is a piece of modern dynamite.

I can hardly contain my excitement! Come Monday and the Apache will be in my garage!

Happy weekend, Elvis and the rest of you.

Much the same as Aussie dude, dawn parades and a few other things round the country. But because it falls on a Saturday over here most people haven't said boo about it because its not a day off.

a year ? holy crap - it seems like a month ago

My AFL team Collingwood always play a big game on Anzac day what ever day it falls on, this year we share it with a few other games, but it is still the biggest thing in Melbourne. I will be up at 5 am to watch it.

The RSL actually came out and said this week Aussies don't deserve a day off on Monday because Anzac day is on a Saturday. None the less, it doesn't matter what day it falls on back home it is always huge. two up, b.b.q's, dawn services.

It's the most Australian day of the year. Even more so than Australia day.

Nice bike V!

Sadly, my weekend involves going into work for 05:45 tomorrow morning (thats a little over 12 hrs from now) for a 9 hr shift and then a shit load of DIY on Sunday.

Hope eveyone has a good one, frankly I cant wait for Monday :(

Pretty pumped for this weekend myself...another 3.5 hours of work, then I get to enjoy the most beautiful day we've had all year so far. Planning on a nice long walk with no destination in mind.

Tomorrow I'm heading on a mini road trip with a buddy of mine I havent seen in awhile, which should be a blast. Plus,. this is the first weekend in like 3 weeks that I havent had to work at my 2nd job, which is fucking awesome.
