I thought the series was good when It was in regular rotation. If it ever airs now, it seems quite boring. The last time I saw it on was about 2-3yrs ago, but the TV series, I believe came out in the late 80's/early 90's? I don't remember.

Actually the show's title comes from the fact that each antique the group had to retrieve had a type of "bad luck" curse on it.

See , Friday The 13th is related to "Bad Luck".Hence the title.

I agree the series was badly titled.

A good title would have been "Cursed".

Ok, how about a show about a secret society called the Legacy who gather artifacts to fight evil and we call it "Poltergeist the series?" LOL.
