I'm going to be out of town for the first week of this. I don't want to start the competition by letting my teammates down. Sorry. :(

Ditching this for lack of time can be...a hurried decision. Remember, you havent even seen what lies ahead, or when the registration ends.

For one, registration continues till Monday. Then we have groupings, and then the first Challenge, and then the deadline for that. I think a week can be quite easily adjusted into the scheme of things.
