The world's population will most likely even itself out. I was looking for a couple of articles I've read on the subject, but it's early in the morning. I'll try to find them later.

As a whole, we need to pump more money into science. We made it to the moon fifty years ago; we should have at least small permanent mining colonies by now. If we're to survive as a species, we'll eventually have to perfect space travel. The life of the sun is finite. However long it has left, it's the blink of an eye in the grander scheme of things.

I'm not too savvy on world events, but for the US at least, there's no excuse for us to not throw billions of dollars at alternative energy. We're falling apart at the seams right now, and it's all our own fault. We have this entire barren era of flat land we like to call the midwest with nary a wind farm. For those of you in the know, if there's one thing that part of the country isn't short on, it's wind. We have plenty of south western desert that we can convert into solar farms.

That's definitely a step in the right direction, IMHO.

I'm pretty sure this isn't worth thinking about.

Well I try to raise a bit of consciousness about shit I think is fucked up thru songs.

It's pretty hard to change ideology that's ingrained. Once that changes the world might start spinning the right way.

I'm with Flayed. I did a report on alternative energy and wind energy is seldom used, but it's very effective and relatively inexpensive to harness. Plus he's right, we have PLENTY of space and PLENTY of wind.

I however, think mankind will be wiped out by disease. It's been around since the dawn of time, and it's just a matter of time before something comes along that truly spins humanity for a loop.
