As everyone I offer my condolences...I'm especially sorry for your loss b/c Goldie's a husky and that's my favorite breed.

When my parakeets died in 2005, I felt the same. For an entire year I could not watch a bird fly by, make a nest, tweet or chearp, or look at a tree full of them. Exposure to all of that just made me weep and reminded me of them.

Just remember all the good times you had with her and know it's not your fault that it happened. The healing process takes a long time--every has their own pace but know you are not alone--everyone at some point experiences lost--regardless what level or magnitude---regardless to what degree--it all hits us at some point. And we all get those feelings.

Hang in there, and stay strong. :) Goldie may leave your world, but never your heart. :)

Sorry to hear this, bud. I am basically going thru the same shit myself so I sorta know how that feels like. Hope you are holding up good.

I'm sorry Dante! It's so hard to lose an animal of any kind. The best thing you can do for her is rub her tummy, put her head on your leg and make her feel loved.

Dante'sInferno 02-19-2009 01:24 PM

Yeah, I know posh. I'm going to spend the remaining days with her being happy and spending as much time with her as I can. Oh and i'm sorry to hear that V, It does suck. Like having a family memember die. :( I'm hanging in there though, Thanks everyone

Can't you just let her roam around with that?

We don't go puting our grandparents down...

I'm not the one who is going to do it. My Grandma is. She doesn't want her to suffer she said.
