I have fonder memories of the Savini remake because I saw it first. Blew me away when I was about 13 or 14.

my favorite movie of all time, the best zombie movie ever hands down for me, love watching this, still waiting to get a copy of the dvd though damn it haha, also plan on doing some fan art pieces for it soon too it's next on my list can't wait to get started on them!

Still holds up to this day. I recently showed it to my girlfriend's six year old boy. It was his introduction to horror movies & now he's hooked. Just goes to show you how universal this film really is.

Also, fun fact... the guts the zombies eat in that movie are animal guts from a butcher. Hope they got paid well.
