I vote we all shut up and play Rock Band at Posher's house. I have sparkling grape juice and Grey Goose!

The tournaments are fun. I just wish that they sparked a bit more discussion as opposed to people making one-off answers. I wish that people were encouraged to talk about why they would make their vote over someone else. Or maybe it's not about encouragement; maybe people are too lazy to think of a creative reason as to why they're making the vote? Maybe people need to DEFEND their vote in order for it to count - LOL. Then again, people probably wouldn't vote at all if that's the case (ahhh, pessimistic Chrono coming out).

It could lead into some fun, silly, and imaginative discussions, though.

I.E. I vote Count Dracula over Norman Bates because Dracula is more iconic a figure in the annuls of horror. Not to mention, he would TOTALLY kick that mamma's boy's ass. hahaha

The tournaments and the stickys were what made me join this forum in the first place. Chronogrl's suggestion sounds awesome. It could liven things up a lot when voting is going on. P.S., I voted for Angel Eyes because he could kick the shit out of that whiny pretentious mamma's boy any day of the week. :D

I love the tournaments and hope that we keep having them.

I have had some very spirited discussions within the tournaments.

i always did that ,,,

but i have to admit - i'm tournamented out for the time being ... looks like plenty of interest from the others though...

The tournaments fucking rule. It brings the old-school and younger posters together and gives us something we can all openly participate in.

Everyone that votes obviously enjoys them. If someone is tired of them, well don't fucking bother looking at them and start your own god damn thread. Sorry for ranting. :D

I'm all for keeping them coming - just as long as you aren't getting tired of running 'em. I know they can get tedious and boring to run after awhile - I never did finish my animation tournament - but from a voters point of view, they're one of the big things that make me sign in as often as I do.

Keep them coming!

Okay, but the newer tourneys from now on will have a slightly tweaked format.

Looks like 1-on-1 has finally been done to death (the same as is the normal pattern of advancing), so expect a few surprises from the next tourney onwards (ala Battle Royale II). ;)

Oops...did I mention BR II? Errr...

*whistling innocently, looking elsewhere*
