Maggie, I am so sorry to hear that. Really I am, but it is true, one of the key things is to stay positive. My Grandfather had Cancer. He died of it 45 years ago. The thing is, he was getting better. He had told himself he was going to beat it and he was getting better at that time. But when a doctor told him it was silly to think like that and that no matter what, he is going to die, he got worse and worse and died not long after. Staying positive is so important. That was nearly half a century ago. Technology and treatment is better, many more people survive. And you're not even sure you have it! The odds are with you. Stay positive, you WILL beat it.

Pinkfloyd, that's terrible news! Hang in there though, breast cancer is very beatable, especially when diagnosed early. My thoughts are with you. Stay strong.

You mention you may have breast cancer. So I assume you're waiting for the results. I'll be praying the news will be good and the tests come back negative. Hope for the best and try to stay positive.

That's really not good news. I don't know you, but you seem like a really good person. Hopefully you don't have it. Be prepared and have faith at the same time. I'll also put you in my prayers tonight. Hang in there and don't get discouraged no matter what.

You must be so frightened right now. I hope this is a "false alarm".

Best of luck with your tests. Try to remain strong.

Don't freak out until you know for sure - stress and worry make neverything worse.

I'm very sorry to hear you may have cancer. My wife had stage 2 breast cancer and she is still with me. That was sixteen years ago. And as a number of members have already pointed out, treatment is much better today than it was a decade and a half ago. There is much hope.

You're young enough for your chances to be pretty good, even if it is something to potentially worry about.
I wish you the best, miss, and the best breast.
Take it easy.

My friends wife just went through this over the summer. Very scary...she did have cancer but it was caught early enough...after a few months treatment all is fine.

Our thoughts are with you, Pink.
