The whole second account thing...I don't know if it's usually a "revenge" bit, or just trying to yknow come back and not slip up first.
I think this starts with people having the wrong idea about forums then getting all touchy about the reactions that you can get - you're not immediately among friends...the net is 90% criticism, you are open to it.

When my Dark_Hero account was banned (still kinda wish I knew why), I made this one and posted like a douchebag for a week or two so people wouldn't know it was me.

There are always those who will try to hide their identity in times of strife.

What it always comes down to, is that old members, no matter what the mask, will eventually return to prosperity here because they enjoy it.
