Ohhh wow...hard question.

Price is far-and-away my favourite actor of all time, and one of my own personal idols as an actor. I've never seen a performance from him that I didn't thoroughly enjoy...but f I had to pick some favourites:

Pit and the Pendulum
House on Haunted Hill
Abominable Dr. Phibes
Theatre of Blood
Masque of the Red Death
Witchfinder General
The Invisible Man Returns

And if you want to go beyond his horror roles - and I strongly suggest that you do - I'd suggest:

The Song of Bernadette
Dragonwyck
Edward Scissorhands
Shock

He only has a small role in Song of Bernadette, but IMO it's one of his greatest performances. His internal monologue near the end of the film is easily one of the high points of his career.

Dragonwyck is equally impressive - one of his first leading roles, and he nails it. such an incredible character, very suave,sophisticated...and, of course, very dark and tortured. It's not a horror movie, but you can certainly see the hallmarks of his horror performances.

And, of course, his role in Edward Scissorhands is flat-out heartbreaking.

It's always nice to see a new Price fan - you're in store from some INCREDIBLE movies.

The Abominable Dr. Phibes. Such a trip, I could watch it over and over. Movies from the 70s just make me so happy and yet so scared. The colours are amazing.

I'd have to say Shock (1946). Very interesting movie.

Not many people mention that one...I was under the impression that I was the only one that liked it.

It's a gem for sure. Such a great concept for a thriller.

Witchfinder General but there are really too many to name.

Gonna have to go with the Jacques Tourneur classic The Comedy of Terrors.

You know, I've never seen tht...which is odd, because I love most of the people involved.

The Comedy of Terrors is great. The Raven is better but Comedy of Terrors is lots of fun. Especially love Karloff as a doddering old fool.

The first movie I watched in my 50 Classics set was Last Man on Earth. Been decades since I'd seen it. What a wonderful job price does playing a normal guy for once, set in a horrible world. His torment as he watches his wife and daughter succumb to the sickness are heartbreaking.

I loved Theatre of Blood. Watching Robert Morley eat his 'babies'! Priceless! Or should I say...Pricefull! Heh. Get it? Price full. Vincent price! HA!
