Sorry to disappoint Bloodrayne. Dr. K is my evil half though...if that counts.

Yeah, just see Q the Winged Serpent. I love the part where blood and body parts are raining down upon the crowd and yet no one can the flying monstrosity overhead.

I haven't seen it...Is it difficult to find?

Both Anchor Bay and Blue Underground have put it out on DVD. It's from Larry Cohen (The Stuff, It's Alive) so it's a bit heavy on the cheese.

Unintended cheese is usually a good thing, especially when David Carradine supplies it.

What is this? Y'all seem to think that the only mythological creatures are from ancient Hellas (a.k.a Greece).

What about Leprechaun? That's a fairy (or faery), right. There are some terrific western European mythological types. 'Rayne mentioned the Valkyries (I have an interesting story about the Civil War that concerns Valkyries). Faeries are not always beautiful winged women. Take the kelpie, for example. It's a "horse" faery that eats little kids.

Shit, until just recently, people thought that witches were mythological beings.

How about those dragons, though. Am I right? Who can resist them? They appear in every culture. Avenger, I understand the winged serpent. Very awesome.

Oh yeah, and the Native Americans have some really cool myths. The Windego, as you all know, is one of the oldest and scariest. There's also the famouse Coyote, but He's more of a deity type...depending on your perspective.
