I'm glad you didn't bust a bloodvessel. You were lucky he didn't have a gun.
I am glad you got control of yourself!

I had an insane woman on my tail Monday getting pissed at me for driving the speed limit.
Then she passed me (in a no passing zone) flooring her little toy-toyota engine.
I could literally hear the 'wheeerrr' sound-lol, she probably fried something.
She was cussing me and giving me the finger as she passed-lol, I should have laughed at her when she looked at me.

I always wish these people driving like assholes would just crash- wouldn't that be great:)
But it's the luck of the crazy I guess-they are always fine and there is never a cop around.

@ Newb, that one drives me crazy.
I heard if you are on your cell-it's worse than driving drunk.

Not out of fear - but adrenaline rush energy ... i honestly wanted to kill this fucker and there was some primal reptillian creature way deep inside me that wanted what happened ... i wanted to smash into him, or get out of the car and beat him to a bloody pulp. some part of me got off on the experience and was disappointed i didnt get the chance.

thats obviously something i'm not about to give into - but it weirded me out for the rest of the night (and still today)

obviously this guy showed complete dissregard for the safety of everyone around him on the road by several of his actions - leading me to believe further he was a wreckless motherfucker and was most likely in the wrong in the first place.

i was mostly just suprised at that insane flash of anger i had - i've only experienced it once before - when i was 17 - and almost went at my father (looong story)

so .. sorry - had to get that off my chest...I like my experiences positive - and i hate conflict.... but man-o-man ... i suprised myself there.

Holy shit.

That's pretty horrifying. I know EXACTLY what you mean and how you feel. I find it absolutely terrifying when my anger gets in front of me like that, to the point of adrenaline making me shake...

Whew, Urge. Glad you're ok.

At least I'm not the only one that feels that way about NH drivers. ;)

But seriously - I think that it's driving in Boston that has made me as ANGRY and AGGRESSIVE that I am. I admit it - I'm a complete and utter Masshole.

Also....nine times out of ten when someone is driving like a dick....they are on the fucking phone.

See, in regards to RI drivers... I don't think they're assholes... I think they're morons, which horrifies me more.

NJ and MA drivers are assholes, but at least they know what they're doing when they cut you off... RI drives are unpredictable and horrifying.

...

Not that I classify or stereotype or anything. :p

Oh shit- that was you?! Sorry Urge, I was just really pissed off.

Not, but really, good decision. There are some stupid people on the road, and many of them live for that kind of crap. I mean really, it probably gives him a rush. I'm assuming he doesn't have a family- you do. You made the right decision, and you'll never see him again. So fuck him.

Thats funny, because my experience with driving in Boston did the same thing... Most people in NH drive likle the biggest city they have been in is Manchester... Manchester is a big town, not a city... I dirve like i am in boston, and it keeps people at an arm's length :)

Bree's favorite thing to do when someone pulls something stupid, and its a male driver is to laugh at them. She knows the horrific damage it does to the male ego when a good looking woman laughes at you while calling you a loser :)

I never flip people off or cuss at them, but I get very ANGRY when someone "bright lights" me, or "honks repeatedly", or "honks AFTER I have already made some minor mistake!" It makes me want to stab them to death. LOL! Sometimes, I will honk back just to be a bitch. *giggle*

One time, I followed this guy who put his bright lights on simply because I merged onto a road and he had to simply slow down or move over to the left lane. I was beyond pissed off! Funnily enough, he drove into MY apartment complex. I stopped and sat there. When I started driving off to go around to my apartment, he chased me on foot until I stopped. He then cussed me out and acted very aggressively. My young son was in the car with me. It was stupid of me now that I think about it. And dangerous! When I get angry, I'm not scared of anything or anyone. That can be VERY dangerous. Anyway, he and his gf were going into an apartment. I called the police when I got home. A police officer actually came and I reported that he was in that particular apartment. She went and talked with the guy. He was pissed when she was questioning him, she said. The guy turned out to be a college kid, probably trying to impress his gf but scaring her instead. I decided not to press charges as I didn't want to "ruin" his life. I guess I'm pretty rational when I've had time to calm down. :o

Another time, a young guy leaned out of a car at a stop sign and yelled, "Fuckin' back up, Bitch!" I followed him, too. A girl was driving and again, I had my son with me. :o She got scared and pulled over. I kept driving...

That was about 13 or 14 years ago.

Nowadays, I just cuss at people without actually speaking out loud or I slow down or speed up just to "get revenge." Not proud of my behavior. I am the most patient person when someone accidentally pulls out in front of me, and I don't even honk when someone sits at a red light too long.

I have never actually instigated an incident as I do not like confrontation. I am the same way when I am not in the car...Friendly and kind until some "fool" starts something. ;)
