Cheap as fuck weed is a brand I stick by. Sometimes have to go to different stores to find it but you know its all about the loyalty to the product.

what about all those direct to DVD sequels of classic movies.

trust me - you can go VERY wrong with Disney.

There is one exception to that generally inmutable rule, cinderella 3 was surprisingly clever.

classic disney isnt bad, but things started falling apart sometime after the little mermaid. beauty and the beast pushes things a bit, started getting hokey and the acting was going downhill. then they made pocahontas... the hunchback of notre dame, and Hercules.

Hercules was worse than a parody of disney movies. Disney typically sanitized the stories to be more kid friendly, understandable.

But hera and zues were in love? "Herc" is a star? jesus christ... that movie made me want to vomit.

i absolutely LOVE Monsters Inc .. probably the best disney film since the 40's.

other than that - i really dont care for any of the 'new classics'

I wasn't a big fan after Beauty and the Beast either. Not much into Hercules, Tarzan, Hunchback, Mulan...

But I did like Monsters Inc., Toy Story, and The Incredibles.

urgeok2 04-18-2008 09:51 AM

yeah - thank god for Pixar.

bugs life was fun too.

Vodstok 04-18-2008 09:57 AM

pixar is great. I was never interested in cars, but i love the rest of them. ratatouille was fun. i consider it redemtion for peter otoole. he owed us big after phantoms.

I LOVE Beauty and the Beast, but I agree that after that one, I also wasn't much of a fan. But I will admit that I do like Mulan. Hercules and The Hunchback of Notre Dame I didn't care much for at all though.

I really liked The Incredibles a lot as well, never saw Toy Story.
