yah i seen this it was like a documentary about horror directers i think it was called masters of horror. yah and the guy who played leather face, they told him it was going to be a more phychological movie compaired to the original (you already said this) just being a bloodbath. the guy who played leather face said "wait have you ever seen this movie?"

I keep on reading that the new carrie sucks major ass.. that it is more censored and more like a Carrie 2 the rage.. I havent seen it though..

that's hysterical and completely untrue. The original TCM was a psychological horror and the new TCM was a bloodbath.

Very true. The original isn't half as gory as the film leads you to believe it is. However, I haven't seen the new one, so I can't comment on it.

The remake isn't that gory either. IMO it was made more so to scare you and make you jump, not disgust you.

They are completely different films and I dont compare them to each other. The only 2 thing that is the same is both movies have leatherface in them and the name is the same. other than that they are different. I like both movies.. TCM 2003 is a fucking awesome movie compared to movies today.. that is my thoughts... :-)

the updated version of carrie wasn't that bad but it was a little to long IMO. but it was also nice they wanted to stay true to the book unlike some other movies based off books. haven't seen the remake of TCM yet. does any one know when its to b released on dvd?

i thought tcm 2003 was a good movie. my complaints are that i almost fell asleep because i didn't think that it would ever end. but aside from that it was pretty good.
