What I was saying was that he survived the fall b/c he was possessed. The priest was dying during the last rights. The Gemini killer was also dying. Legion put the Gemini killer's soul into Father Damien. He was taken to a hospital b/c he had severe brain damage from the fall and that's why he was in a coma for like 15 years. I've only seen the film once though so I may be wrong on some of this.
