Yeah I know at my high school we had old yearbooks in the library and also some older teachers had copies.

well, I'm 13, 14 in dec, in year 9 and over here, high school starts at year 7. We learn the stuff you learn in 7th grade but a year early. So, while we're ( not including reception/kindergarten.) in our 7th year at 13 -14, you're in your 6th (6th grade.)

Well over here my high school was 7th grade to 12th grade.

so, it's kinda the same but because we start at 4, we finish at 16. Year 11. The rest (6th form, college, uni) is optional. So, while you were in 7th grade, people the same age in england, were in year 8, learning what you learn in 8th grade. Just a year earlier.

for us it goes nursery/toddler group 2-3yrs old
Infant school - reception, year 1, year 2, Year 3, Middle School - Year 4, Year 5, Year 6 Senior School - Year 7, Year 8, Year 9, Year 10, Year 11. Optionals Sixth form - 1-3 years College or Uni any age. |
