Dont listen to avenger he's just a hater.lol. Its really a more accurate translation of the book with stephen king more involved. Its got some good scenes and its not so Kubrick, no jack nicholson tho so you have to get over that.

I also saw the first part of rose red and didnt think it sucked that bad. I have the 3rd part downloaded but am still waiting on the 2nd to finish. It must fall apart after the first part judging by how you guys are responding to it.

Rose Red started off really well with all the usual brilliant King character studies. I just thought it got boring and bland and it wasn't even creepy. Yet again the sets ruled the day. Not even gonna bother with the prequel.

Storm of the Century: Very cool... but not scary IMHO.

The Shining miniseries: Bleh...

Rose Red: Started out really cool... totally sucked by the end.

My favorite King miniseries is still IT, closely followed by The Langoliers.

I've honestly loved all the Steven King mini series's. Though all of them didn't scare me-.
