Critics weren't that crazy about House, which I think is much better than Devil's Rejects. House was a smarter, more referential movie and more of a carnival. I understood the desire to recapture the Badlands vibe, which Rejects sort of did, but House was a much more fun way to experience these characters. Critics have a lot of love for Suspiria, as do many film students, but Inferno is kind of unappreciated. I love the Lovecraft meets Delicatessen vibe, the great locations, the artsy storytelling and Mario Bava behind the scenes throwing cats. Argento the ballsy surrealist is in my opinion a little more interesting than Argento the giallo master.
