People saying it's all T&A simply don't get it. It's an indictment of the Ugly American. Like when the boys are told that the women are hungry for men because they lost so many of thier men in "the war"... there hasn't been a war in Slovokia. It's playing on American ignorance of European current affairs - which is quite valid given the response by so many on this site.

I "got" it, but I just don't believe Roth did it very effectively. I think it was too ambitious for him to be honest, he was trying to make a smarter movie than he was capable of at the time. I applaud the attempt, but yes, the first part does come across as sex over substance. It was just boring, in the hands of a more experienced filmmaker it could have been very effective, but it just wasn't in the hands of this one. I liked a lot of it, and I respect Roth because I do think he has great potential. He's just not there yet.

it really was.... even the so called scary parts were totally tearing funny... wont be to none horror fans but from the amount of film wev all seen its a total cliche film now.... i really enjoyed it...seriously funny
