No other movie has ever scared me except Pumpkinhead,of course i was 5 years old then.

So it's number one for me.

All these movies are prone to viewing tragedies(PUKE,DIARIA and other EBOLA like symptoms.)

Movies Prone To Viewing Tragedies (Heart attacks, ambulance called during time in theatres)
- The Exorcist : Numerous Heart Attacks, Terrified woman Gives birth in cinema, People taking therapy (psychotherapy) after going mad and disturbed after viewing the film, was threatened by the vatican to be banned EVERYWHERE and all remaining tapes, reels, etc of the Exorcist were to be terminated. Heavily Cut, uncensored version was not ever shown until nearly 30 years after theatrical release.
- Halloween : Heart Attacks
- The Texas Chainsaw Massacre : Heart Attacks
- The Evil Dead : Heart Attacks

Thats a helluva list.
IMO the orginal Night of the living dead should be on there. I dont know where it should fit in exactly. Not sure if there were any heart attacks related to it either though. Still one of few movies that actually makes me kinda nervous to walk to the car at night.

Great list, although Nightmare on Elm Street didn't do it for me. The Exorcist definitely did, though. I don't think I'll ever outgrow that one for many of the reasons others have talked about here.

The Shining traumatized me, too. Just brilliant. And Jack reminded me of my old man when he was angry (the eyes, I think) so that gave me beaucoup nightmares. :D

But there were moments in some films that really gave me the creeps, even if the entire film wasn't all that scary. In Amityville Horror II, the opening when the son walks around killing the entire family, and especially when the sister tried to get the smallest sibling to join her behind the wall...I'll never forget that.

Rosemary's Baby when Rose approaches the coven at the end of the film to finally see her child.

The Sentinel when the gates of hell are opened and all the creatures spill out.

The end of Invasion of the Body Snatchers.

The blood test in The Thing...

It wasn't a girl, it was a teenage boy in the '40s. There was a diary kept by one of the people present at the exorcism that Blatty apparently read, but no one knows how, not many have been allowed to. Anyway, here's some info on the site. There is also a book called Possessed: The True Story of an Exorcism by Thoma B. Allen, I have never read it , it is supposedly a true telling, I guess he also managed to get a copy of the diary.
