But...If you're talking about digital CABLE, we've had that option for forever...Most people (at least all the people I know) choose not to have it And...If you're talking about something else...Then...Umm...No? :D |

Here in MI I can't get Comcast to give me non-digital cable anymore. So I bought an HD TV, upgraded the box, and basically gave them what they wanted.

okay. I know what he's on about. In england (and possibly other countries) we have what we call the digital viewers. They either have sky digital (the most popular with the most channels, pay monthly. Virgin media - similar but less channels or freeview - pay for the box and you get around 80 channels, no monthly payment needed. Then there's the people who just have the standard 4/5 channels. BBC1, BBC2, ITV1, Channel 4, Channel 5. Now, soon, the people with only 4/5 channels are going to have to upgrade to one of the digtial viewing boxes or have no television viewing. That's the digital switchover. So know, your digital or you get nothing to watch. Just a stupid moneygrabbing idea targeting those people who can barely afford some kind of digital so they stick with what they have. (In case you're wondering, I'm with Sky.
