I love Italian Zombie And Cannibal films! You should check out "Mountain Of The Cannibal God".

Mountain of the Cannibal God doesn't have a whole lot of cannibalism, though.

It had a pretty big group of slow, sleepy advancing zombies with bowed heads...the makeups looked simple, mostly mud color, maybe. And the end of the film had a bunch of people in a showdown with these things. And then they escape in a jeep and drive away. The end!

It looked like a late 60's or early 70's film. And I was surprised at how much the zombie "look" resembled Fulci's "Zombie." The coloration of the zombies was not gray--they were largely a kind of pale brown or beige. This gave me the impression that the zombie actors had been smeared with some available mud! But they looked okay.

But this was made much earlier, from the look of the film. Couldn't have been ealier than mid-60's. It was in color.

Does anyone know what zombie movie this is??

Does this look familiar Crabapple? Though it's not from the 60's or 70's it is an Italian Zombie movie with clay faced zombies. It's Zombie Holocaust aka Doctor Butcher M.D., from 1980.

I guess some people are just too afraid to respond.

I think it may be the same one he was mentioning about. The plot seems close enough anyway.

House by the Cemetary was my least favorite on the list, They Beyond and City of the Living dead were amazing though, two of my top favorite horror films for sure.

I've never seen that one, I'll see if I can find it.
