Just because some were/are staged doesn't mean all of them are. You aren't suggesting there hasn't been ANY beheadings of American soldiers at the hands of extremists are you?

never. I'm just saying there is a knee-jerk reaction to this particular method of execution. We're losing soldiers everyday and it pains me greatly as I have many family members and friends in the military and a couple serving there right now.

The Beheadings are terrible for sure - but they are all about propaganda. Instilling fear. Showing open defiance. They are not militarily effective, they are not descimating our ranks.

The biggest problem is that it stirs rage against an entire people, an entire religion. Both sides know this and will use the info accordingly.
