It felt like a false bill of goods. It's called Jason takes Manhattan for fuck's sake and he spends soooo little time in NYC

I hated this one. It felt like a missed opportunity. #1,2,3 are the only ones worth a damn besides the gloriously over-the-top Jason X...which has become my favorite of the series.

pr3ssur3, I meant "say what you like" about the fucking movie. Sorry I wasn't clear about that and there's no reason to be unfriendly.

I find it hard to hate any of the Friday movies. But that is not to say that I think any of them are pinnacles of great film making.

The series stopped trying to be inventive and original long before Jason Takes Manhattan. However, if one's expectations are only for a few laughs, some over-the-top kills, and more of the same, then there is some fun to be had in the Jason series.

If only we could get the full series uncut...

Jason is lovely, but 8 Jasons' a little much. Would they call the 13th one, friday the 13th again?

started to become comical, that's what annoyed me about F13's. It was looked at as a joke by the producers after 5 or 6 (don't remember). Jason Voorhees is not exactly Jim Carey. If they want to make a lampoon of the film, fine, but don't go both ways. Jason the clown....ha ha ha....not.

Cept 1, II, IV, VI & X to some extent, I thought the rest of the parts sucked big donkey balls. Re-hash after re-hash of the same stuff makes it stale, and that too the treatment meted out to the franchise? Cmon.

At least they tried something different in Jason X. But everyone knows, its gone beyond the funny point and nobody's laughing anymore.

The only one i really enjoyed in the series was JGTH. The jaw-caving punch remains one of the funniest kills to date.
