Hmmm..... TGIFridays hot wings doused in Franks Red Hot sauce because they werent hot enough.... caused some weird "The Merciless Peppers of Quetzlzacatenango"(Guatemalan insanity peppers) chemical reaction that caused horrific nightmares.... Remember my thread about the dream with the little girl with the grown woman's face and the dessicated old woman who tried to eat me? yup, thats what caused it.

When i was a kid, i was forced to eat a frozen, heat in the oven breaded veal cutlet. it took me a half hour to choke it all down, while my sister stared at hers. My dad got home, tasted it, declared it was disguisting shit and we went to mcdonalds.

I got very little since i wasnt very hungry from eating the nasty shit. i never forgave my mother for makign me eat it.

I don't want to get into one of those "oysters and snails" conversations. But I was originally horrified and fascinated by oysters. Now I just love 'em. The first time I saw one, it looked real gross, but something told me that there was heaven in them thar oysters. This isn't making any sense?

Oh yeah: "Guatemalan insanity peppers" --that has a nice ring to it, I like that.

I like 'em "ok", but they've gotta be prepared to my specifications, or to me at least, they're just not worth the pricetag.

when we were kids my mom used to make some hideous casseroles ...

one in particular was this offensive concotion of creamed peas and canned tuna. fooking disgusting.

i didnt have any choice but to eat it or go hungry (after sitting at the dinner tble for 5 hours) so thats when i learned that with the aid of 1/2 a bottle of HP sauce - i could eat just about anything.

Never heard of it.

holy shit ! its a staple up here ..

any breakfast 'bacon and eggs' restaurant carries it.

i'll use it on :

scrambled eggs
kraft dinner (if for some awful reason i'm forced to eat it)
pork chops

its like a better tasting alternative to ketsup ..
only spicy to people who cant handle any kind of spice .. but its really tasty

Yeah, we have HP sauce here...never quite looked into what it was, or what the HP stood for. I like peppersteak sauce myself, mainly stock based type stuff...the HP was ok, but tasted a little like...different...not in a bad way, just...I dunno...didn't quite leave the best impression. Although it's been quite a few years since I've tried it, I may pick some up.
