Damn, that sucks big time! I'm glad you're alright, for the most part. Muscle relaxers don't do shit, ask 'em for some Vicodin or Percodan or something. Man that's gotta hurt. Of course don't go driving if they give you pain pills, probably shouldn't on muscle relaxers either depending on how they affect you.

Here's to a speedy recovery for you!!! Take care man!

Thanks for all the well-wishes guys :)...He's doing okay, just a bit sore...Hell, I've put him through worse than a truck wreck :D

He's asleep right now (has to be back at work at 4am), so I'll update ya

His head and neck still hurt pretty good, they told him at the hospital that he would be in some pain for a couple of weeks...

As for 'fault'...Kentucky is a 'no fault' state, so both insurance companies have to split the costs...However, he admits it was his fault, but unavoidable...Think of it this way:

The roads are wet, heavy traffic travelling 35 miles per hour...A vehicle stops suddenly in front of you...You know that if you hit the brakes you will skid into him, your first instinct screams "Don't hit that guy!", so you turn the wheel, a minivan hits you because you went over the line into his lane...If there had been TIME for a 'second instinct/thought/decision', you may have chosen to go ahead and hit the guy in front of you, that's what bumpers/fenders are for and he DID just slam the brakes in front of you (we still don't know why...That guy took off, so he couldn't exactly be asked), and that most likely would have turned out better...But, without time to act, we tend to simply REACT, and take a chance that maybe we WON'T get hit, rather than the certainty that we will definitely get hit...ie: If the minivan wouldn't have been coming in the other lane, there would have been no wreck, but if he did NOT turn the wheel, there would have definitely been a wreck...Does any of that make sense?...I know what I'm trying to say, just not sure if I'm explaining it well enough...Anyway, that's what happened...

He didn't even fill the prescription, I think it was for Lortab or something...So, no worries about the 'driving under the influence thing' :)...He won't take anything stronger than Advil (EVER), I think it may be something about the fear of not being in control, or maybe he just likes to tough it out...Either way, he decided to give up his front desk/night auditor position at the hotel a few weeks ago, because he discovered he preferred driving the shuttle over being trapped in the lobby all night (3rd shift behind the desk is boring apparently)...So, he's back to driving (with more pay and a manager title)...It wouldn't be a good idea to take pain medication because of his job anyway...

Thanx for all the kind words, I'm getting all mushy now (not really).

In response to everything.........just read what Rayne said, she sums it up pretty well. The pain this morning is pretty bad but as a clumsy kid I got used to neck and head injuries. By noon it should be just a dull annoyance (until I lay down again).

If I ice it and eat a bunch of advil I should be able to escape any follow ups or therapy, It's just that sex will be a little less rough for about a week or so......I'll survive, but I worry about Rayne.

Well I should get back to work, someone's gonna need a ride soon I'm sure.
