Haha, watching that movie with any female is very awkward. My girlfriend wanted to watch it with me. We watched the first 20 minutes of it, I got embarressed and turned it off. I think she knows why, but she kept bugging me about it and it's still in our "To Watch" stack of films. :(

Literally. Have you read all of the critical letters in Fangoria for the past few months? It's all about Hostel and it's reference to the words "Fag", "Gay" and "Homo". Very sad indeed, although that IS normal talk for any teenager.

Liked Wolf Creek - nice slow burn and the "head on a stick" line is wonderfully chilling.

Really liked Hostel - the idea of someone paying more to torture an American over any other nationality makes this the most subversive film to come out of Hollywood in a while. A real indictment of the "ugly American."
