Day of the Triffids is a great horror movie. The plants in it are SCARY, and they have disgusting squishy feet that make me want to shudder. The idea of almost everybody being blind with giant man-eating plants on the loose is a great one for the creepy crawlies....and if they remade it, even though the original is great, I'd probably be first in line to see it.
