We were stationed at Grissom AFB back in the day. used to do all of our shopping (not grocery, the other stuff) at the Washington Mall in kokomo....

You know what i dont miss most? ENDLESS fertilizer and pesticide commercials....

Haha, I know exactly where Grissom is. I live about 45 miles from Kokomo

Kokomo... Notable because it was mentioned in a VH1 special where the "Clever" folks doing "i love to 80s" said that is what was referenced in the beach boys song for the movie Cocktail, and being frequented by Ryan White, the poor kid that was a hemophiliac and one of the first people on earth to be recorded as getting AIDS from a blood transfusion. poor kid had a shit time of life for the last few years of it. Damn hicks....

Yeah, for a couple of years after that story broke the staff hearded all of the kids into the auditorium to watch 'The Ryan White Story' once a year. Fun times, that.
